Super Bowl Madness

We hosted a bunch of people for a little Super-Bowling this evening. It was fun, a tight game, but Jason's beloved Cardinals lost at the last minute. This was their first-ever appearance at the Super Bowl, and they did a good job. We made tomatillo turkey chili, a cool bean dip that Jason designed an Arizona Cardinal Mascot on, fresh strawberry salsa that I'll be enjoying for days, and other goodies. A nice evening, giving us a reason to be merry amidst all this cold weather and economy strife.
Jason and I have paused several times lately and basked in gratitude for our blessings. Aside from our very healthy, thriving kids, we have mentioned several times to each other how much we love our apartment. Never do we love it more than when it is filled with people enjoying each other's company. Jason turns 39 on Friday (we sang Happy Birthday to him tonight!) For his birthday he got what we also gave each other for Christmas: a 2-bedroom apartment in Tribeca. He couldn't be happier. We couldn't be more grateful.

  1. I love the brick walls and the huge windows! I'm glad you are enjoying it there. We'll have to visit.
